Before there was ever a business, founder, Cody ‘Busy Brain’ Blazek always had a curious and expressive mind. He would run for miles while stewing on an idea. By the next day, he would have something sewn together simply to make more room for his mind to wonder down a new path. A playful and passionate curiosity paired with a methodical and disciplined attitude which has become the foundation of Yonder’s DNA.

Being an advocate for running and a competitive amateur athlete, the emphasis of Yonder has always been about hand-making and testing ideas. Not only is this an exciting and rewarding process, the outcome always leads to unforeseen advancements because you get to comb over every minor decision.

In today's era of mass production, handmade prototypes can set your business apart by showcasing attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, and thoughtful design choices. By making in-house prototyping a priority, it fosters creativity and innovation as we have the freedom to experiment with different materials, construction, and techniques, allowing Yonder to create distinctive backpacks that stand out in the market.

I love to share the process behind creating each backpack, highlighting the skills and artistry, and showcasing the dedication to quality and craftsmanship that goes into every Yonder product.
